ZTE Corporation is looking for a senior and business-oriented professional to lead the expansion and strategic development of our Data Center (IDC) business in Brazil.
This role is positioned as a front-end business leader responsible for market development, customer engagement, opportunity identification, ecosystem building, and strategic solution positioning in the Data Center and Mission Critical Infrastructure domain.
The ideal candidate should possess strong industry experience, customer relationships, business development capability, and solid understanding of Data Center infrastructure and market dynamics.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Market Expansion
Lead business development activities for Data Center / IDC opportunities in Brazil.
Identify and drive new business opportunities with:
Telecom operators
Enterprise customers
Cloud providers
Hyperscalers
Investors
EPC companies
Data Center ecosystem partners
Develop customer engagement strategies and business growth plans.
Build and maintain long-term strategic customer relationships.
Opportunity Incubation & Commercial Drive
Identify customer investment plans, infrastructure expansion opportunities, and market trends.
Drive opportunity incubation from early-stage engagement to project award.
Coordinate internal resources to support commercial competitiveness and customer success.
Support commercial negotiation and strategic project positioning.
Customer Solution Positioning
Understand customer business challenges and infrastructure requirements.
Position ZTE Data Center solutions and capabilities according to customer needs and market trends.
Lead customer workshops, executive presentations, and strategic solution discussions.
Act as a trusted advisor in customer Data Center transformation and infrastructure planning initiatives.
Ecosystem & Partner Development
Build relationships with consultants, EPCs, technology partners, and industry stakeholders.
Develop and expand the local Data Center ecosystem and strategic partnerships.
Support channel and partner collaboration opportunities.
Cross-functional Coordination
Coordinate with sales, solution, delivery, product, procurement, and finance teams during opportunity development.
Support alignment between customer requirements and internal execution capabilities.
Facilitate smooth transition from business acquisition to project delivery.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in Data Center / IDC business development, strategic sales, solution management, or related commercial roles.
Strong network and customer relationships within the Data Center, telecom, cloud, or critical infrastructure industry.
Proven experience in customer engagement, opportunity development, and project acquisition.
Good understanding of Data Center infrastructure, including power, cooling, network, and IT environments.
Strong commercial awareness and business development capability.
Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working in multinational, telecom vendor, or infrastructure-related environments is preferred.
Bachelor degree preferred in Engineering, Telecommunications, Business, or related fields.
English: Advanced (mandatory).
Portuguese: Fluent (mandatory).
Preferred / Nice to Have
Existing relationships with telecom operators, Data Center providers, hyperscalers, or enterprise customers.
Experience in large-scale or international Data Center projects.
Knowledge of the Brazilian Data Center market and ecosystem dynamics.
Experience working with multinational infrastructure or technology companies.
